Depending on what field your certificate is in, your degree will be in one of these three programs: A.S. in Health Studies, A.S. in Business Studies, and A.S. in Technical Studies. Admissions Requirements
Admission to the College and to the Online A.S. Degree Completion Program requires:
- High School diploma or its equivalent
- Completion of a certificate program at an accredited college
(18 unit minimum)
Program Length
A minimum of 60 units of credit is required to complete your Associate of Science degree. In addition to your transferred certificate, you will need to complete a minimum of 30 units with SJVC Online. By taking courses full time, you can complete your associate's degree in as few as 30 weeks.

Program schedules will be predetermined based on the transferred certificate and course availability.
