Locations
SJVC's Clinical Medical Assisting program is available in six locations across California, including Modesto, Fresno, Visalia, Hanford, Hesperia, and Rancho Cucamonga. This variety of locations makes it easier to find medical assisting classes near you. If you are outside of California or would enjoy the convenience of taking classes at home, SJVC's Clinical Medical Assisting program is available online.
Certifications Earned
Graduates earn a Certificate of Completion and are eligible to sit for the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) exam, offered by American Medical Technologists/Allied Health (AMT), and the National Certified Medical Assistant (NCMA) exam, offered by the National Center for Competency testing (NCCT). Graduates also earn Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) Certification, CPR and First Aid Certification.
Certificate graduates may continue their education at SJVC and earn their Associate of Science degree.
