Our balance of hands-on experience with classroom instruction covers all aspects of dental assisting skills and related theory. Locations
SJVC's Dental Assisting program is available in three locations in California. If you live in the Fresno, Visalia, or Bakerfield area, your local SJVC branch offers a Dental Assisting program to help you further your career!
Certifications Earned
Graduates earn an Associate of Science degree and certifications in Sealant, Radiology, CPR, Coronal Polish, and Infection Control, and are eligible to take the Dental Board of California Examination for State Licensure as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA).
Programmatic Accreditation
San Joaquin Valley College's Dental Assisting program is accredited by the Dental Board of California.
